I think that contracts are not only extremely important part of any type of business agreement, I think they are absolutely necessary. A contracts purpose is to protect both parties, to ensure that no one is being taken advantage of. A contract can state who is responsible for what aspects of a project and who is not, Whom can do what and whom cannot, these type of agreements can protect people from fraud, etc.
